1. PREHEAT AND PREPARE
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a standard loaf pan (9x5 inches) or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
2. MIX THE DRY INGREDIENTS
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Whisk to evenly distribute everything.
3. ADD THE CHEESE
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, making sure the pieces are coated with flour — this helps the cheese distribute evenly and not clump during baking.
4. POUR IN THE BEER
Slowly pour in your favorite beer. The carbonation reacts with the baking powder to give your bread a natural rise. Stir gently with a spatula until just combined.
Tip: The batter will be thick and sticky — that’s perfectly normal!
5. BAKE
Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
Brush the top with half of the melted butter for that golden, flavorful crust.
Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until the top is deep golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
6. BUTTER AND COOL
Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and brush with the remaining melted butter. Let it cool for about 10–15 minutes before slicing.
